I Hate Brett Favre

Brett FavreDoes everyone hate Brett Favre as much as I do these days?

I’ll give him this. He has been one of the best, more durable quarterbacks to ever step on a football field. But this guy needs to know when to just give up. He must have the world record for retiring the most times in any profession, in any country, EVER.

If he had gone out with the Packers, people would still adore him. He was such a likeable guy. But when you keep on retiring and forcing ESPN to air that Brett Favre is coming out of retirement bull, then it just annoys the hell out of people. Even John Madden knows when its time! [ESPN]

David Ortiz’s Eyes are Fine

David OrtizCome to find out, David Ortiz’s eyes isn’t the reason why he is hitting under .200 with less than 3 homeruns 1/3 through the season.

Even though every major league team gives each player a physical before the season starts (which includes an eye exam), poor David thinks it would be a good idea to see if his vision is the reason why his skills are deteriorating in his 30’s.

Is it because he is recovering from the post steroid symdrome? Maybe. He also could just be getting older, and because scumbags like Barry Bonds, and Roger Clemens, it has tainted baseball fans to thinking people still produce in their 30’s. If natural, it is very rare to be productive in your late 30’s.

Stephen Strasburg

Haven’t heard of Stephen Strasburg yet? You soon will.

If you haven’t been exposed  to ESPN recently, then let me introduce you to the next superstar in the MLB. This guy is talked about as being “one of the once in every 3 decades” kind of players. If you take a look at the video, you’ll get an idea of how talented this kid really is. He tops out the gun at 103 MPH! Although his composure is suspect considering he hasn’t thrown a single pitch in the majors, he has the talent that us baseball enthusiasts haven’t seen since Nolan Ryan.

Tim Tebow Says No to Chicks, for Now

TebowTim Tebow is waiting till he gets married?

Tim Tebow, quite possibly the best college football player of all time, is waiting till he gets married before he does the deed. As we all know, college is a massive mating institution. But, a football player, who is nationally recognized, has one up on pretty much anyone that steps foot on those grounds.

Percy Harvin, presented without comment: “If I could trade places for a day with anyone: Tim Tebow….We saw all kind of actors and news reporters just kind of blatantly say, “Tebow, I want you.” And he turned them down. I’m looking at him, like, “Man, you are crazy.” [Pioneer Press]

Belichick’s Son Actually Drinks?

belichick's sonOne of Belichick’s sons was arrested for underage drinking at Gillette Stadium.

First off, who cares if the kid is underage drinking. For anyone to believe that this is wrong is most likely a hypocrite. At least we know this kid isn’t gonna be a boring, dry weirdo like everyone thinks of his father Bill. His other son actually got in trouble for the same thing previously. And who is the asshole cop that arrested Belichick’s son at GILLETTE STADIUM!?

Ryan Leaf Reaching New Heights

Ryan LeafPeyton Manning or Ryan Leaf? Hmmm.

Ryan Leaf, being the second pick in the 1998 NFL draft has had his share of embarassing moments. I think this may be his most shameful ever. Leaf has been indicted by a Randall County grand jury on drug and burglary charges. He was already considered the biggest bust of all time. I think this just makes him the biggest loser of all time. New England Patriots team to beat?

Patriots RankAre the New England Patriots the team to beat in the NFL? The NFL Network crew seems to think so.

The New England Patriots won 11 games last year without arguably the best player in the NFL, Tom Brady. I think people have quickly forgotten about how they went undefeated during the regular season just 2 years ago. Maybe even a better team this year.
