David Ortiz’s Eyes are Fine

David OrtizCome to find out, David Ortiz’s eyes isn’t the reason why he is hitting under .200 with less than 3 homeruns 1/3 through the season.

Even though every major league team gives each player a physical before the season starts (which includes an eye exam), poor David thinks it would be a good idea to see if his vision is the reason why his skills are deteriorating in his 30’s.

Is it because he is recovering from the post steroid symdrome? Maybe. He also could just be getting older, and because scumbags like Barry Bonds, and Roger Clemens, it has tainted baseball fans to thinking people still produce in their 30’s. If natural, it is very rare to be productive in your late 30’s.

Stephen Strasburg

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Haven’t heard of Stephen Strasburg yet? You soon will.

If you haven’t been exposed  to ESPN recently, then let me introduce you to the next superstar in the MLB. This guy is talked about as being “one of the once in every 3 decades” kind of players. If you take a look at the video, you’ll get an idea of how talented this kid really is. He tops out the gun at 103 MPH! Although his composure is suspect considering he hasn’t thrown a single pitch in the majors, he has the talent that us baseball enthusiasts haven’t seen since Nolan Ryan.
